No parent likes to see their baby get sick. What's worse is when there is nothing we can do to help them.

When it comes down to it, there are not a lot of things babies can have in the way of medicine, but I wanted to share with all of you out there my honest review of Zarbee's baby cough syrup.

    Does it work?

My honest review of Zarbees's baby cough syrup is that yes, it works!

Not only did it soothe my little guy's cough enough that he could get some much needed rest, it also helped loosen up the mucus so the coughs baby has are much more productive.

    Who created Zarbee's cough syrup?

Zarbee's baby cough syrup was created by a pediatrician who is also a parent.

If you grab a box of this Zarbee's baby cough syrup, you will notice on the side a brief story about why Dr. Zak Zarbock created it.

It basically states that he wanted a medicine that used natural ingredients and there weren't many available at the time that he created this baby cough syrup.

Is Zarbee's Baby cough syrup safe for baby?

Like all medicines, it's important to first check with your child's pediatrician before giving any new medicines.

What's in Zarbee's Baby Cough syrup?

The thing I liked best about this cough syrup is that it uses natural ingredients. I think this is why it can be used on babies as young as 2 months old (just get an ok from your pediatrician).

It uses organic Agave, and English Ivy Leaf extract to help with coughs and mucus.

Why did I even need it?

My little 5 month old (at the time) son got RSV and it was brutal. If you are a parent with a child or baby who has ever gotten RSV, you know it is not fun.

My tough little guy had to go and have breathing treatments. I scoured the internet looking for a way to help my son with his coughing and mucus build-up as his pediatrician told me that it would run it's course in a matter of about 10 days.

There was no way I was going to watch my little guy struggle for 10 days.

That's when I came across Zarbee's baby cough syrup, in particular, the cough syrup and mucus. I had my reservations about whether or not it would work, but was willing to try.

To my surprise and also relief...it did!

So without further ado, here is my honest review of Zarbee's baby cough syrup:

    Easily administered

Another great thing about Zarbee's baby cough syrup is that you can easily give it to your baby using the enclosed syringe. I slowly put the cough syrup into my baby's mouth and he drank it right away.

It was rather thick in consistency, so that's why I went slow about giving him it, but he didn't have a problem at all.

Where to buy Zarbee's Baby Cough Syrup?

Zarbee's baby cough syrup is available in a lot of places.

This is important because how cruel would it be to tell you about this great product for it to not be availble it a store that you frequently shop at.

When it doubt, you can find it here on Amazon.

The big takeaways from this review of Zarbee's baby cough syrup is that it uses natural ingredients, it was created by a pediatrician, and most importantly...it works!

If your baby has a cough that you can't seem to control, try some of this Zarbee's baby cough syrup, you will be glad you did. As always though, make sure to check with your baby's doctor first before giving him/her anything!

So glad it helped Melanie! It's the worst feeling seeing sick little ones and feeling helpless. Zarbee's will always have a place in my medicine cabinet!
