    Top 3 Steel frame pools

    1. Bestway Power Steel Deluxe Series (top pick)
    2. Summer Waves Active outdoor pool
    3. Intex Metal Frame pool

    1. Bestway Power Steel Deluxe Series

    Bestway steel framed pool

The Bestway Deluxe series pool is our top pick for a number of reasons. It's 20 ft around and 48 inches deep. It also comes with a lot of pool accessories, and is easy to set up.

    What we like:

    • It comes with a pool ladder.
    • It comes with a pump.
    • It comes with a chlorine tablet dispenser.
    • It comes with a pool cover.
    • It also comes with tools to clean your pool.

    2. Summer Waves Active Outdoor Pool

Our runner up is this steel frame pool from Summer Waves. It's sturdy, easy to set up, but not as big as the first. It's only 12 feet around, and 33 inches deep.It also doesn't come with as many accessories.

    What we like:

    • It comes with a pump.
    • It's great for a smaller backyard.

    What we don't like:

    • It doesn't come with a cover, pool cleaning tools.
    • It also doesn't come with a ladder, so younger kids will need to be lifted into it or you will need to purchase a separate ladder.

    3. Intex Metal Frame Pool

Our third choice for a steel framed pool is this one from Intex. It's 15 feet around, and 48 inches deep. It also comes with some accessories, but it's the most expensive of all three.

    What we like:

    • It comes with a pump.
    • It comes with a ladder.
    • It comes with a pool cover, and a ground cloth to go under the pool.

    What we don't like:

    • It costs the most.
    • It doesn't come with pool cleaning tools.

    Steel frame vs inflatable

    Steel Frame Pool

    • Steel frame pools last a lot longer, and are more durable.
    • They can be pricier, but overtime it's worth it.
    • Most come with a pump which helps you keep the water clean.
    • Lots of different sizes to choose from, and they usually have deeper pools.
    • They do take longer to setup, but you can leave it up all season long.

    Inflatable Pool

    • These are the easiest to set up.
    • They are also cheaper, but you do get what you pay for.
    • Doesn't last as long, and you have to be careful not to pop them.
    • They don't offer many sizes, usually just shallow for little kids.
    • Can't leave these up all season.
