What books should a 7 year old be reading?

For summer, try How to Catch a Mermaid, The Color Monster, and My Magical Choices.

Why is my 7 year old struggling to read?

It's important that they hear you read to them and that they are practicing too! We aim for at least 20 minutes every night.

As you read with your kids, use your finger to show which word you are reading.

How long should a 7 year old read a day?

We like to read for at least 20 minutes when my daughter was struggling with reading. It has really helped her improve her reading!
